Clients must be living or moving to cities in York Region or Toronto (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrccfurnituredepot.org\/contact-us\/jrcc-fd-service-area\/\">full list of eligible locations<\/a> here).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><b>Please make sure to book clients who live north of the 401 and\/or in east-Toronto.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">JRCC FD does not verify the eligibility of our clients.&nbsp;<\/span>Pre-screen should be done by referral agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Assess your client\u2019s need for furniture. We provide gently USED furniture, not new. Please refrain from booking clients who want new furniture, appliances, clothing, and clients that are looking for a very specific item<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jrccfurnituredepot.org\/agencies\/agency-booking\/\">Booking&nbsp;system<\/a>: complete all the necessary fields and make sure they are correct \u2013this data is directly transferred to our systems as the client&#8217;s delivery address and phone number for delivery<\/li>\n<li>Input your client\u2019s name, address, phone number, and email \u2013 DO NOT enter your contact details instead<\/li>\n<li>We will schedule the delivery with the address you enter when scheduling the appointment. If you mistakenly submitted an incorrect address, contact us <strong>immediately <\/strong>at <a href=\"mailto:cr@jrcc.org\">cr@jrcc.org<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jrccfurnituredepot.org\/agencies\/agency-booking\/\">Booking system<\/a>&nbsp;is open for scheduling appointments for one month from the time of booking. If your client is moving, book their appointment 5-7&nbsp;days after their move (and after they have a key). We cannot store furniture in the facility<\/li>\n<li><strong>User name and password are personal and cannot be shared with another worker<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Caseworkers are required to attend an orientation. If you do not book at least one client per year, you will be required to attend a refresh orientation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Inappropriate use of the system may result with no service<\/li>\n<li>You will receive an appointment confirmation notice following each booking on your screen<\/li>\n<li>This confirmation will be emailed to<strong>&nbsp;you and to your client&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The confirmation email sent to <b style=\"text-decoration-line: underline;\">you<\/b> will contain a link and a session ID needed to log into our online systems on the day of the appointment. Each session ID is unique to the appointment.<\/li>\n<li><b>Do not share the session ID with your clients, as it is associated directly with your personal login information to our systems.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Most clients have their appointments conducted with the FD client admin. There might be cases in which the agencies will do the appointment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Before Your Appointment<\/b><br><b><br><\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Please make sure to remind your client of their appointment, so they can be free for their online appointment<\/li>\n<li>Please make sure that you or another case worker at the agency is available to meet your client and facilitate furniture selection on the date and time of the scheduled appointment (if your agencies conducts appts)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">If your clients have a language barrier, make sure to have an interpreter available during your appointments with your clients &#8211; this is crucial<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Please make sure your clients know the correct measurements of their residence and of furniture required in advance of their appointment. Do not book clients who did not measure the house or do not reside in the delivery address you provide<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Please create a list of needed items with your clients, so they will be more focused on specific furniture items during furniture selection<\/li>\n<li>Please make sure your client has access to the devices and\/or software (e.g., Zoom) to share screen with your clients during their appointments.<\/li>\n<li>Please make sure your client comes prepared to their appointment with their preferred payment method (i.e., debit or credit card)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Appointments<\/b><br><b><br><\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>To login to the appointment, go to the link in your confirmation email and input your <b>username<\/b>, <b>password<\/b>, and <b>session ID<\/b> for your appointment. Username and password are the same as the ones you use to book appointments.<\/li>\n<li>You can change your password via the booking site only (i.e., jrccfurnituredepot.org)<\/li>\n<li>Appointments are 60 minutes in length \u2013 this includes both furniture selection and delivery payment. Late arrivals will be deducted time for the appointment.<\/li>\n<li>Guidelines regarding furniture selection, payment, and delivery are clearly shown on the first page of the appointment site. Please review them carefully with your clients, confirm, and proceed to furniture selection<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">Clients can select up to 15 furniture items. Of these items, they may select up to 4 large items (including: sofa, desk, large bookshelf, dining table, dresser, wall unit, buffet &amp; hutch, sideboard, large cabinet).&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The client is responsible to make sure that the chosen items will fit their home<\/li>\n<li>The FD movers might not be able to safely deliver large furniture items to clients that live in an apartment without an elevator or in a basement apartment with a narrow pathway and\/or steps leading to the doorway. Please refrain from choosing furniture items that are too large or heavy to be safely delivered, otherwise the items might be left outside the client&#8217;s address.<\/li>\n<li>All sales are final<\/li>\n<li>No changes or refunds can be made after order is confirmed<\/li>\n<li>Clients&nbsp;are required to schedule their delivery at the time of appointment. The system will show options for the delivery date, and your client can choose the one that fits their schedule best.<\/li>\n<li>Clients&#8217; final delivery date\/time will be set by the FD one day prior to delivery.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;<span style=\"font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">Clients&nbsp;need to<\/span>&nbsp;<strong>pay the required delivery fee between $60-$400. All payments are final and non-refundable.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Clients can pay for delivery via credit card or debit card.&nbsp;Clients that are partially covered by an agency will need to pay the difference only (if any).<\/li>\n<li>For client delivery coverage \u2013 please see the coverage section below<\/li>\n<li>A payment link will be sent to the client after they submitted their furniture order with you. Once their order is paid you will get a notification.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure clients understand that they are responsible for the cost of delivery and must pay it in full at the time of their appointment<\/li>\n<li>During appointment, obtain and provide information from the client that is relevant to the delivery (e.g., live in a basement or apartment with no elevator, alternate contact information, where to park\/unload furniture)<\/li>\n<li><strong>WINTER ONLY<\/strong>: if the client is residing in the basements\/ townhouse\/ house, let them know the driveway must be clean of ice\/snow and treated with salt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Coverage<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>&nbsp;<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>If the agency will incur the cost of delivery \u2013email us&nbsp;at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:cr@jrcc.org\">cr@jrcc.org<\/a>&nbsp;(no phone calls please)&nbsp;<strong>at least three business days in advance of client\u2019s appointment (late requests will not be processed)<\/strong>. Please ensure the paying worker is either the one who sends us the email or cc\u2019d to the email (we will send the invoice to this person).<\/li>\n<li>Suggest the client to contact&nbsp;<strong>Access York<\/strong>&nbsp;to verify eligibility for delivery coverage&nbsp;1-877-464-9675<\/li>\n<li>For agencies incurring the cost of delivery, it is suggested that you limit the amount (average delivery cost is $160, range is $60-400), so that clients select furniture items that are most needed<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">Agencies can pay by cheque, mailed directly to us; or wire transfer. We will send the referral agency an invoice after the client has scheduled a delivery<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Covered by UW funding for delivery (until April 2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chronic homelessness<\/li>\n<li>Youth<\/li>\n<li>Indigenous<\/li>\n<li>Women experiencing intimate partner violence<\/li>\n<li>People leaving public institutions \u2013 corrections, health, foster care<\/li>\n<li>All other\u2019s who are homeless \u2013 women, adult men, seniors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Contact us at cr@jrcc.org to learn if your client is eligible for a delivery fee subsidy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>For furniture donations \u2013 call ext. 500.
